Debra Henry, an award- winning west coast author, has published her short fiction in literary journals including Island Writer magazine.
Recently, her short story, Ashes to Ashes, won first prize in the Victoria Writers' Society annual fiction writing contest. She is currently working on a police procedural novel, Hooked on Murder, set on northern Vancouver Island. Her short story, Local intelligence, featuring the same characters and setting as her novel, is included in Crime Wave, an anthology published by Sisters in Crime.
Debra is a member of the Victoria Writers' Society, Sisters in Crime, the BC Federation of Writers and Crime Writers of Canada. She lives in Sidney, British Columbia, Canada.
