Welcome

Debra Henry is an award- winning west coast author whose short literary fiction is published in journals such as Island Writer magazine. Her short mysteries appear in Crime Wave 1 and Crime Wave 2, anthologies published by Sisters in Crime Canada West.

 

Debra's short stories have won prizes several years running in the Victoria Writers' Society annual fiction and creative non-fiction writing contests. She is currently working on a police procedural novel, Hooked on Murder, set on northern Vancouver Island. Her short story, Local intelligence, included in Crime Wave, features the same characters and setting as her novel.

A member of the Victoria Writers' Society, Sisters in Crime, the Federation of BC Writers and Crime Writers of Canada, Debra lives in beautiful Sidney by the Sea on Canada's west coast with her husband and labradoodle, Quinn.
